9/28/11- Barnes & Noble

Much much happier with how these came out compared to 9/26.

  1. Good overall gesture, the body parts aren't very defined though, maybe with some overlapping lines, the last one especially, it'd look less awkward

  2. Zach,
Overall, the form of these poses is stronger then the last session but you devote so much time to the contours that they don't have a lot of identity. The one drawing where we should see the face has no facial description at all, yet look at how much energy of line if in the feet and shoulders. Work lightly and when you put a line down, COMMIT TO IT. It's okay to work in a scribbly manner and have an agitated line but your pressure is too hard right now. If you need to block in a shoulder axis and hip axis line, then go ahead. If the proportions elongate, it's okay. Keep drawing and stay loose.
