Zach, The top page is beginnig to develop towards a strong gestural direction. You are working a bit more loosely in the standing form. If you get frustrated with the way a drawing is going, try to avoid filling areas in - you've left the realm of a gesture and entered the world of rendering. Stay loose and lay the lines in with confidence - not that what you are making is EXACTLY what you see, but that it is a strong drawing using that particular subject as reference.
